Meg Cabot kick-starts Twitter Novella

A story to be told in Tweets has kicked off with the following opening line written  by Meg Cabot, author of the Princess Diaries:

“Every girl at Guru Fashion Agency had an eye on the hot new guy, Jake. So Carly was shocked when he texted HER with his odd S.O.S.”

So begins the second round of interactive story-telling  on Twitter, organised by BBC Audiobooks America. (The first was started by Neil Gaiman.)

Twitterers are invited to submit the rest of the storyline.  Selected Tweets will be those judged to provide the best line to continue the story in progress.  At the end of the writing process,  the contributions will be edited and compiled as a script, then produced as an audiobook. This will be  available on the BBC Audiobooks American website and also as a digital download.

Anyone with a Twitter account who is interested in taking part is invited to follow

Send Tweets  to @BBCAA, using the hashtag #bbcawdio.
