Book Swap

Got a book you’re ready to give away, or fancy going on a treasure hunt for a new
one? Then take a look at the Guardian Book Swap project.

The idea is to leave a book, containing a personal message explaining  what you liked about it, to pass on to another reader.

(The message should be written on a bookplate available
in the Guardian and Observer or downloaded from their website.)

Leave your book somewhere where it can be found, take a photo, upload it to the
Guardian’s Flickr group and geotag it to be displayed on a map,  along with thousands of others.

A few rules of Book Swap: Make sure your book is in good condition, don’t leave
inappropriate material where it can be found by children, avoid leaving in
bookshops, libraries, or anywhere it could be damaged by the weather, and don’t
put yourself or the finder at any risk.
