Battersea Arts Centre has re-opened to the public following the fire which destroyed the Grand Hall and Lower Hall at the back of the building.

Thanks to the work of the emergency services, the front half of the building was untouched and has been declared safe, and all shows apart from Gecko’s Missing will run as scheduled.

Support has flooded in via social media and more than 1000 people have already sent donations towards building repairs, with a total of over £40,000 raised so far. For further updates, check the website and @battersea_arts #BACphoenix on Twitter.
